FC Barcelona manager Xavi said they were not good at all in their win over Getafe in La Liga as the Catalan outfit picked up another three points and maintained their lead at the top.
Barcelona took on Getafe in La Liga and secured a 1-0 win. Pedri scored the only goal of the game as the Spanish midfielder sent the Catalan outfit ahead in the 35th minute of the match.
Despite dominating the possession, Barcelona could only secure a narrow 1-0 win over Getafe, who languish at 16th in the La Liga points table.
Speaking after the match, Barcelona manager Xavi conceded that they were not good at all against Getafe and stressed they need to minimize the number of poor games they are having.

“I have to be very honest, we were not good at all. We need to minimise our poor matches like these ones,” Xavi told reporters after Barcelona’s 1-0 win over Getafe.
“Overall, I think that we’ve played better matches than we’ve played poor matches like this one. 70% of our matches have been better than this. We’re closer to a good Barca than a slow and tedious Barca.”
Meanwhile, with the victory, Barcelona now have 44 points from 17 matches in La Liga so far in the 22/23 season.
They have a three-point lead over arch-rivals Real Madrid, who sit second in the points table. Los Blancos maintained pressure on Barcelona with a 2-0 win over Athletic Club in their last match. Real Madrid have 41 points from 17 matches so far in the Spanish top flight in the ongoing campaign.
Barcelona will face Real Sociedad in the Copa del Rey quarter-final in their next game. The Catalan outfit secured their passage to the quarter-finals of Copa del Rey after romping their way to a 5-0 win over AD Ceuta in the Round of 16.
Meanwhile, Real Sociedad booked their place in the Copa del Rey quarter-final after defeating Mallorca 1-0 in the Round of 16. The match between Barcelona and Real Sociedad kicks off at 1:30 am Indian Standard Time on January 26.
After the Copa del Rey fixture, Barcelona will take on Girona in an away fixture in La Liga.
