Football transfer news: Shakhtar Donetsk’s Mykhaylo Mudryk is currently among the most sought-after footballers in Europe.
Mudryk joined Donetsk’s youth academy in 2016 and worked through the club’s youth ranks to make his senior debut during the 2018-19 season. He has played 20 league games for the Cup Team so far, scoring two goals.
The 22-year-old attacker was part of Skakhtar’s squad that won the Ukrainian Premier League title during the 2019-20 season.
His performances at Olimpiyskiy also earned him a place on Ukraine’s national team. He has represented the Eastern European nation six times since his debut earlier this year.

According to reliable transfer market journalist Fabrizio Romano, Shakhtar Donetsk have not changed their position on attacker Mykhaylo Mudryk. They still want a transfer fee in excess of €50 million to sell their prized asset.
The Ukraine international was linked with a move to the English Premier League during the recently concluded transfer window. Everton made a bid worth close to €30 million to sign him, which was rejected by the Ukrainian club.
Mychajlo Mudryk: Style of Play
Mudryk is a versatile footballer who is comfortable playing in various positions across midfield and attack. His key strengths are his pace and dribbling skills, along with his ability to find his teammates in key goalscoring positions.
The Ukraine international has played two UEFA Champions League games this season, registering two goals and two assists. According to WhoScored, he averaged one shot, one key pass, and two dribbles per 90 in the UCL this term.
Mark Noble returned to West Ham as Sporting Director
The Hammers legend Mark Noble will return to the club as a Sporting Director in January. Noble announced his retirement as a professional footballer after an illustrious career at the end of last season.
Noble spent 18 years as a professional footballer with the London club between 2004 and 2022. He played 472 league games during his time with the Hammers, scoring 55 goals.
The former England international won the West Ham United Hammer of the Year accolade twice and was also included in the West Ham United Hammer of the Decade (the 2010s): 2010–19.
