Formula 1 news: Formula one weekends will have a different format from this season onwards. The 2022 season will follow a different schedule, changing the formula one weekend.
Firstly, there will be no media days on Thursdays. Earlier, media duties were a big task of the day for every team as they got most of their staff at the track the very first thing in the morning. From this year, Thursdays will start a little late.
It will allow people to attend European events by flying in the morning rather than on Wednesdays. A three-and-a-half-hour time has also been provided for teams to visit the tracks and in the meantime, FIA will conduct its system checks in F1.
FIA will also track inspections while the teams do the technical meetings. Thursdays also had a prerace press conference of the drivers which has now been shifted to Friday. Everything is done to make the event more organized.

On Sundays, nothing changes. They’ll stick to the old ways. The Grand Prix will be held on Sunday. It is, as always, the event’s main attraction. The exact moment of when it will be broadcast in different places will be determined by the time zone and location of the country.
The driver’s press conference, being held on Friday, will be of a two-hour-long duration and it is mandatory to end the conference at least 90 minutes before a first practice session. The practice session will be of one-hour duration.
Formula 1 News: The Second Practice Session to Be Held After Fp1
The second practice session will be held after FP1 and the driver’s briefing will remain for 90 minutes after the FP2 checker flag goes down. Until last year, the team bosses’ press conference was held on Friday but from this year it will take place on Saturday.
The conference will be one and a half-hour long. It will most probably take place before the FP3. Although, the final practice will be held on Saturday. Majorly only will the qualifying be held a few hours later than it.
Sundays are not changed at all as it will have the Grand Prix, the main show of the weekend. Sundays will also see the driver’s parade. Where all the drivers are interviewed while being on a loader truck or in a classic car.
There are a lot of new things in store for the 2022 season. Given that this is the start of a new era of formula, a greater emphasis is placed on making the season more equitable. Every now and again, the authorities introduce a new adjustment in order to draw more fans to the sport.
