Gabriel Jesus News: Since the latter stage of the previous season it was being said that Jesus and Manchester City would part ways. Jesus always had the issue with continuity and game time at City.
Every time he was in form, injuries took him out of the team. As a result, he wasn’t really able to show his capabilities as a Manchester City player. After City announced the arrival of Haaland, Jesus’s departure looked even more evident.
Arsenal has been an interested party from the start. Mikel Arteta worked with Gabriel in his time under Pep and knows about the abilities of the Brazilian. At the age of just 25, he would still be a good signing for Arsenal.
With Lacazette ready to join Lyon as a free agent, Arsenal does not have a proper number nine. Jesus could fill in that hole for the Gunners and his latest statement has filled the club with confidence.

Arsenal has already started their transfer business with the arrival of Brazilian winger Marquinhos. Earlier, today there were rumors about the club reaching an agreement with Porto’s Fabio Vieira.
Mikel Arteta is bringing in players as per the club’s requirement and he isn’t waiting around on deals this time out. Even in Jesus’s case, the club is confident that they can confirm the deal before the transfer window ends.
Although, Arsenal should target to push their target ahead to the start of the season. It would be good if the squad gets to gel some time before the actual season starts.
The club would still have a good one-month period to seal negotiations and complete all transfers that they want to. If Vieira and Jesus end up joining Arsenal the club shouldn’t look toward adding more attacking options.
