Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli is close to signing a new contract at the Emirates Stadium. Martinelli is currently among the most promising attackers in Europe.
The 21-year-old attacker joined the Gunners from Ituano in the summer transfer window of 2019. He has played 104 games in all competitions for the North London outfit so far, registering 23 goals and 15 assists.
Gabriel Martinelli helped Arsenal win the FA Cup in 2019-20. Martinelli also won the Arsenal Player of the Month accolade for December 2021 and December 2022.
His performances at the Emirates Stadium also impressed Brazil manager Tite, who handed him his international debut earlier this year. Martinelli was also part of the Brazil FIFA World Cup squad. He made three appearances for the Selecao’s in Qatar.

According to the Daily Mail, Gabriel Martinelli is set to sign a new contract with Arsenal. His current contract at the Emirates Stadium is set to expire at the end of the current season.
Both parties are said to be in advanced talks, with a view The youngster currently earns around £70,000 per week but his new contract will pocket him close to £200,000 per week, making him one of the top earners at the Emirates Stadium.
Barcelona and Liverpool have also shown interest in signing Gabriel Martinelli in recent months. But the Brazilian has already made up his mind about extending his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
While speaking to the media last month, he said: “I’m very happy at Arsenal. I’ve said it many times. This is my club. I love to be here. I love the city, I love the club, and I love everything about Arsenal. So I want to stay, I’m very happy.”
Gabriel Martinelli has been in exceptional form this season. He has played 14 Premier League games so far, registering five goals and two assists. The Brazil international will look to continue his fine form when the season resumes after the midseason break.

When will Arsenal play next?
Arsenal are currently at the top of the Premier League, five points clear of second-placed Manchester City. The Gunners will lock horns against West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium for their next Premier League game on December 27. Gabriel Martinelli is likely to feature in the game.
