Giroud In No Mood To Quit Arsenal

Olive Giroud recently waived off any rumours regarding his move outside Arsenal and says, he doesn’t have any doubts with his future being at Emirates Stadium.

This French striker hasn’t been able to start in any Premier League games following his toe injury and it is Alexis Sanchez alone who is handling the forward position for Arsenal. However Oliver Giroud believes that his future is safe at this team and he would come back stronger and fight hard for his place.

This Frenchman looked confident after his side won 2-1 to Sweden in World Cup Qualifiers. “I do not have any doubts about my future at Arsenal,” he told reporters after this great win.

His teammate Alexis Sanchez has been in a very fine form, and has scored eight goals for Arsenal this season and also assisted in some. Due to Giroud’s injuries Arsene Wenger had promoted Sanchez from left forward to centre forward and this led to speculations about Giroud future at club.

With no mood to be called the super-sub of Arsenal, Giroud believes that Sanchez has been the prime choice for Wenger as he at this point doesn’t have any option.

I just hope to get playing time again now. Alexis and I are different types of attackers and the coach has to make a decision. But I intend to come back even stronger.” Giroud told reporters.

This former Montpelier man hasn’t been bad either and has score 3 goals for Arsenal with two from bench in the recent 4-1 win of Gunners against Southampton.

This attacker sure looks confident as he speaks to reporters ‘There is always competition for places. There are a lot of attackers at every big club.

It would surely be interesting to see if Wenger also puts his confidence to use and allows him to open this Saturday, when Arsenal face Manchester United in a classic encounter.
