Greenwood News: It looks like Mason Greenwood’s wait will go on as his keeps case still remains without a verdict. Within this week the court was supposed to give their decision on Greenwood’s ongoing trial.
The player was taken into custody under charges of assault, rape, and threat to kill. Greenwood’s case didn’t look too good as there was staggering evidence against him in form of audio and videos.
In the eye of the public, the teenager has already been deemed guilty. Although, he is on bail for the majority period of his trial. Initially, Greenwood’s bail was supposed to end in April.
However, the authorities had the bail extended to the end of June and it looks like the Authorities still need more time to come to a final decision as the police have applied for another bail Extension in Greenwood’s case.

Mason Greenwood had been informed some time ago that he would receive the official judgment on his case. Although, even after 10 days had passed there was no official communication.
The reason might be that Greater Manchester Police wants some time to process the decision. As per reports from the Mirror, this appeal will be heard in the Manchester Magistrates’ Court next week.
The meeting will be held on 23rd and the application will not be considered in an open court. Mason Greenwood isn’t expected to attend the hearing along with the media and the public.
If it is decided that the police’s plea will not be considered, then we would have the final verdict of the case pretty soon, otherwise, the matter will be extended for another couple of months.

Manchester United was quick to react when Greenwood’s case unfolded. The club condoned any kind of abuse and was very disappointed in Greenwood’s actions. As a result, the player’s profile was removed from the app and he was given a suspension.
Cadbury, one of Manchester United’s partners was also quick to issue a statement. The company did not want Greenwood in any of its advertisements. Even Nike was quick to cancel their deal with the player.
But now if the judgment comes in Greenwood’s favor would it look good if any of the parties turn back on their initial point of view. That is one of the biggest reasons why Greenwood’s career in England might be over.
Clubs would not want to go against social and public perception. Greenwood now features on the Sex offenders list which will be a big red flag for any major club in England. His best bet would be to look for employment offshore.
