Latest: Guardiola could lose one of his favourites as Spanish Giants close in

It is hard to say no when there is a call from Los Blancos, Sterling’s impressive performance has made the Spanish giants turn their sights from London to Manchester.

There are not many wingers at the moment in the top of their game. Sterling would easily occupy a place in the top ten wingers of this season to look for. He has already scored four time, which also includes two goals in the champions league. Last season was his best, as he was used as a replaced for injured Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus by pep. His composure in front of the goal made him an alternative striker for pep and scoring injury time winners put city way ahead of other in the table’s final position.

Still only 23, Sterling has a huge career ahead of him both for England and his impressive City career.  He can still improve a lot under Pep Guardiola, his creativity, composure and decision making could help city to win everything this season. Under Pep and Gareth Southgate, Sterling has improved a lot.

He was called up for the national team when he had a great start to his club career with Liverpool under Brendan Rodgers. Sterling, with his impressive dribbling skills, formed a deadly combination withSuarezsuarez and Daniel Sturridge

With Real Madrid struggling for goals, Sterling should be a perfect fit for the Spanish giants, with Hazard’s deal taking too long. Neymar and Mbappe are settled in paris, Sterling would be an ideal option to go for.  It seems almost impossible as pep generally has a good management tactics and relationship with his player and he does not allow key players to leave, particularly to a rival.

Author’s View:

Sterling is improving, but he still needs to improve a lot if he needs to feature among the world’s best. Real Madrid could settle for him, if they fail to sign any other big names in Europe, particularly given the poor display in attack form. Sterling’s contract ends in 2020, he will be instrumental in Pep’s squad to content for the champions league. Madrid representatives were in attendance at the Estadio Benito Villamarin to watch Sterling play and he still could be persuaded by Los Blancos.
