If reports are to be believed, Arsenal right-back, Hector Bellerin is expected to be the long-term successor of Dani Alves at Barcelona who joined Juventus on a free transfer this summer. Reportedly, Barcelona withdrew their interest from the Spanish international, but, rumors have emerged again that the Catalan team has reignited their interest in the Arsenal defender.
At the start of this month, it was revealed that Barcelona had dropped their interest to re-sign Hector Bellerin, who grew up in Barcelona’s famous academy, La Masia. The Blaugranas were given a set-back as the Gunners did not show any desire to sell the 21 year old. However, the situation has changed in a couple of weeks.
Reports in Spain suggest that FC Barcelona are looking are anticipating to stop the current Arsenal man, Bellerin from extending his contract at the Emirates as Luis Enrique’s men are pursuing a long-time replacement for their legendary right-back, Dani Alves.
The Brazilian right-back left for Italy this summer after playing for 8 years at the Nou Camp. The Catalans are looking to fill the void left by his departure, by signing the 21 year old who is tipped to be one of the best right-backs in the world in the future.
The Spanish international, quickly established himself in England and has been part of Arsenal’s first-team since 2013 after spending two years at Arsenal’s academy.
The 21 year old Gunner is among one of the fastest players in the world currently and has already represented the West London club 79 times.
