According to Journalist Mark Lovell, Manchester United has already made an approach to secure the services of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich in the summer.
European giants such as Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Manchester United have been tracking the big Polish striker but it seems like the latter hold the advantage of bringing him to Old Trafford at the end of the season.

The Los Blancos have identified Lewandowski to replace the misfiring Karim Benzema at the Santiago Bernabeu while the Blues are still unsure of starting either Olivier Giroud or Alvaro Morata and Conte is looking at the former Borussia Dortmund marksman as the next centre-forward at Stamford Bridge. However, the Red Devils are afraid of losing Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the end of the season and are eager to have a backup option other than Romelu Lukaku up front.
Although Bayern is adamant about letting Lewandowski leave the Allianz Arena anytime soon, German-British journalist Lovell has insisted that Jose Mourinho’s side are closest to luring the prolific forward to join Old Trafford in the summer.
Manchester United Favorites-
ESPN journalist Mark Lovell took to social media in giving a huge update about the transfer circulating Lewandowski, as he tweeted “Manchester United are the only club to have made an approach for Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski while Real Madrid dither according to Kicker in Germany,”
Lewandowski joined the Bayern Munich from Dortmund in 2014 and the 29-year-old has helped the Bundesliga giants in securing the league title on all three occasions since making the switch.
It could be another step to take Manchester United to the next level; Jose Mourinho is preparing a few massive deals for the biggest stars in football to rival Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City next season. But they will face an uphill task against the Bundesliga champions in order to convince them to sell Lewandowski.
