I would already be there – PSG Superstar admits Real Madrid interest

The defending UEFA Champions League winners have long been linked with a move for this Paris Sent Germain superstar.

In the summer transfer window, Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid to Italy to join Juventus. Everyone expected a response from Real Madrid but Real Madrid did not sign any big-name players in the transfer window. The likes of Neymar, Hazard and Mbappe were all rumoured to be in the list of their transfer targets. However, the Spanish behemoths ended up without these players.

The departure of Ronaldo might have provided opportunities for players like Gareth Bale and Asensio but they could not replicate what the big Portuguese superstar did for the Spanish side for nine years. As a result, Real Madrid are currently languishing third in the points table, already 11 points behind league leaders FC Barcelona. In the meantime, they also sacked Julen Lopetegui and appointed Santiago Solari as gaffer.

Paris Sent Germain superstar and World Cup winner with France, Kylian Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Real Madrid. According to reports in AS, after Paris Sent Germain’s visit to Santiago Bernabeu to play against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, Kylian Mbappe had met Isidro Diaz, a former player and now an advisor for the club, and told him,’ if it were for me, I would already be here’.

Kylian Mbappe exploits at the FIFA World Cup where he played a crucial role in helping France win the coveted trophy and his fantastic performances for Paris Sent Germain has already made one of the hottest prospects in the world of football. Mbappe has already scored 18 goals for Paris Sent Germain in Ligue One this season.

However, chances are still there for Mbappe to join Real Madrid. The defending Champions League winners have felt the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo and have found it difficult.
