It has been a fantastic Test series between Sri Lanka and England at Galle. The hosts came up with all possible attempts to pose a threat to England but the visitors had other ideas. The tourists came up with a decisive approach in all aspects of the game.

On the back of a memorable win in Sri Lankan soil, Joe Root & Co continued to dominate the Lankans in the second Test as well. Sri Lanka couldn’t find solutions to real-time problems as they once again surrendered at the hands of England.
Sri Lanka tried their best to protect their crumbling Galle fortress but they couldn’t stop Joe Root & Co. England won the game by 6 wickets. Zak Crawley and Jos Buttler stayed till the end and helped the visitors ace the run-chase on Day 4.
In the process, the England cricket team registered a comprehensive 2-0 clean sweep over Sri Lanka. The hosts hang their heads in shame as they lost consecutive Tests at Galle for the first time in history.
ICC to investigate extra fielder in Sri Lanka vs England Test

On Day 3 of the second Test match at Galle, an unexpected visitor stole the spotlight. Surprisingly, the unexpected visitor is not a fan and it is a colossal lizard. Who would have thought that a gigantic lizard could make such an entrance?
We have seen animals easily drawing everyone’s attention in the cricket stadium. The spectators witnessed dogs, snakes, birds in the stadium. Perhaps for the first time, a gigantic lizard made an epic entrance as an extra fielder during the second Test between Sri Lanka and England.
Meanwhile, ICC posted a tweet filled with loads of humor. ICC posted a picture of the lizard and sarcastically added that they are investigating an extra fielder during the game at Galle.
“The ICC is reviewing reports that Sri Lanka used an extra fielder against England in Galle today. The situation will be ‘monitored’,” ICC tweeted. The tweet went viral in no time on social media.

Joe Root – Star of the Test series
England captain Joe Root gained so many rating points after the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Joe Root is currently ranked 5th in the ICC Test batting rankings with 786 points. He batted really well in the first two Tests.
Root scored a stellar double century in the first Test. The right-handed batsman followed it up with a magnificent 186 in the second Test. He was named the man of the match and the man of the series.
