United’s chief could possibly hand over the costliest ever transfer budget to Ole Gunner Solskjaer.
Earlier before the sacking of previous United’s manager Jose Mourinho it was difficult to think that United could possibly end up winning any game. United ended up lacking lustre and strength. When Jose Mourinho was sacked back in December of 2018, it looked extremely unlikely that Manchester United would finish the season in the top four for the champions League.
However, when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took the charge over as interim boss, he completely rekindled United’s Champions League hopes. Manchester United would go unbeaten in Solskjaer’s first 12 Premier League games in charge. He won 15 put of 20 games in total.
OGS has been made United’s permanent boss with the hope that United will regain its playing form back. United are now currently still in 6th place, however, they are just two points behind 4th place Arsenal and three points behind 3rd place Tottenham.
Due to Solskjaer improving United’s results so much, it is reported that Solskjaer will be given Man United’s biggest ever transfer budget this summer. Ed Woodward is said to be so impressed with OGS that he will reportedly let him spend in excess of £200m in the coming transfer window.
And the One area that United and Solskjaer look keen to improve is the centre-back department. As per the news Manchester United are still looking to sign Napoli defender, Kalidou Koulibaly.
Real Madrid’s Raphael Varane is also said to be on Ed Woodward’s radar. United are continuing to monitor the Frenchman’s situation with Los Blancos.
