It has now been confirmed that Nigerian youth international Kelechi Nwakali is “officially” an Arsenal player, as the attacking midfielder has signed a contract with the Premier League giants recently. The 18 year old superstar was being linked with a move to the Emirates for quite some time now, after putting in a number of really impressive performances at the U-17 World Cup last year, which must have caught manager Arsene Wenger’s attention.
There had been a lot of speculations going around regarding a potential move to north London, with tweets on social media spreading like wildfire, though the player has now revealed himself that the move is official:

The youngster is a product of the Diamond Football Academy and is at present one of the best talents of Nigerian football, which is why Arsenal looked eager to sign him.
The Londoners have not been spent big in the current transfer window, with Swiss international Granit Xhaka being their main signing so far.
Apart from Xhaka, center-back Rob Holding and Japanese striker Takuma Asano have been added to the squad as well, though Wenger is in need of more quality players, in order to fill the void in his current squad.
The young attacker might not feature in the first team in the upcoming campaign, unless he seriously impresses the boss, though could be a very useful talent in the near future.
