IND vs AUS: The T20I opener between India and Australia kept the fans at the edge of the seats. The Mohali track was an absolute paradise for batsmen.
On the other side of the coin, the bowlers hardly extracted from this surface. They ended up getting battered by the batters throughout the game, which has been the case in both innings.
Australian bowlers were torn apart by the Indian batters. Hardik Pandya decimated the opposition’s bowling attack with relative ease. The all-rounder constructed his innings in the best way possible.
Pandya played one of the top T20I knocks of his cricketing career as he scored an unbeaten 71 off just 30 balls. He constructed the knock with the help of 7 boundaries and 5 hits over the fence.
KL Rahul was the other batter who played really well at the top. The right-handed batter scored 55 off 35 balls. He smashed 4 boundaries and 3 sixes.
