Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Co have another important assignment up ahead at home. They will play against the South African national cricket team in the three-match T20I series.
Following that, they will play three-match ODI series at home. Meanwhile, the first of the three-match T20I series will kick off on September 28, Wednesday. The match will kick off at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala).
The second T20I will kick off on October 2, Sunday at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati. On the other hand, the third and final T20I will kick off on October 4, Tuesday at Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
The first of the three-match ODI series will take place on October 6 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.

As soon as the team bus arrived in the city, scores of fans came to see the cricket players. Plenty of fans shouted, “Sanju, Sanju” and the chants were evident as Sanju Samson is from Kerala.
Interestingly, Suryakumar Yadav flashed a pic of Sanju Samson towards the fans. The video clip of the same has gone viral on the internet.
Meanwhile, Samson is expected to make a comeback in the upcoming three-match ODI series against South Africa after leading India A in 3 unofficial ODIs against New Zealand A.
