IND vs SL: Team India are locking horns with the Sri Lankan cricket team in the second of the three-match T20I series. Moreover, the game is currently being staged at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
India’s T20I skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and preferred to bowl first. He thought that the dew factor might come into play later on in the innings.
This is why he decided to bowl first in the second T20I. Sri Lanka‘s opening pair – Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis scored runs at a rapid pace after scoring only two runs off the first over.
Hardik Pandya kept things in control as he didn’t concede too many runs. However, things messed up for India when Arshdeep Singh bowled the worst spell of his T20I career.
The left-arm paceman literally struggled to get going as he found it hard to complete his first over. After delivering five balls, Arshdeep Singh bowled a no-ball but Sri Lanka didn’t take an extra run on that ball.

IND vs SL: However, in the next ball, Sri Lanka made use of the free hit. Arshdeep Singh went on to bowl another no-ball not once but twice and paid the price.
Thus, he became the first Indian bowler to bowl three consecutive no-balls. Sri Lanka were gifted with eleven runs as they scored a six and a four on free-hit balls.

IND vs SL: Sri Lanka posted a huge total of 206 for the loss of six wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Dasun Shanaka led the batting attack by example as he scored a quickfire fifty.
He scored an unbeaten 56 off 22 balls where he essayed his innings with the help of two fours and six maximums. On the other hand, Umran Malik took 3/48 in 4 overs.
