India vs Hong Kong: Lokesh Rahul who was out of cricketing action for quite a while finally made his return to action for the ongoing edition of the Asia Cup.
However, his comeback was far from impressive. He departed for a first ball duck against Pakistan cricket team Dubai International Stadium, Dubai.
The right-handed batter misjudged the line as he tried to swing the bat with a view to playing the shot towards the onside. However, he ended up getting chopped on the line.
Talking about his recent performance against Hong Kong, the right-handed batter clearly struggled to get going. He wasted too many deliveries, especially in the powerplay overs.
In fact, it was not even a run-a-ball knock in the first place. He scored 36 off 39 balls and came under fire for his slow knock as he had a strike-rate of 92.31.
His strike-rate is not at all acceptable in the shortest format of the game, considering a player of his caliber. Users took to their Twitter handle and slammed Rahul for his slow knock.
