Barcelona will be entering the transfer market in order to reduce it’s wage bills. With a midfield player and an attacker a priority, it seems there will be a mass exodus before new arrivals at Nou Camp. According to reports, Inter have inquired about Barcelona star.
Barcelona are looking for a midfielder and a striker in the January transfer window. The likes of Paul Pogba and Adrien Rabiot are on the transfer list of Nou Camp giants. A new centre-back is also on the list of the La Liga giants. However, all of this depends on the players going out. The Catalan giants are looking to reduce their wage bill and will be keen to offload a lot of players. It seems Inter Milan have inquired about this Barcelona star.
Serie A giants Inter Milan reportedly asked Barcelona about the availability of out-of-favour winger Malcom. Inter Milan remain interested in taking Malcom on loan. The Italian side, who loaned Rafinha from Barcelona last season, are looking to add the Brazilian winger to their squad if the Brazilian doesn’t get more minutes on the pitch. But it seems the Nou Camp side are confident that Malcom will get more minutes on the field.
Inter were one of the sides along Barcelona who were interested in signing Malcom in summer. Various European clubs are keen to present an offer for Malcom in January.
The Brazilian hasn’t been involved under Valverde too much but is still a wanted man in football. He has only played 25 minutes this season for Barcelona. It’s been disappointing to see a player of such promise limited to a bit-part role this term. After all, he was sensational for a Bordeaux team that struggled last season. He’s firmly behind Dembele, another person who has lost his role following the switch in formation.
It would be interesting to see whether Inter bid an offer for Malcom. With Messi out of action for weeks, this might be Malcom’s chance to shine under Ernesto Valverde. It seems Malcom is nonchalant about his lack of playing time. However, if an offer comes up for Malcom, the Brazilian should leave the Nou Camp.
