The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the complete IPL schedule for the upcoming season. The tournament will start with the match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings
Among the other franchises in the tournament, Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first game. Social media accounts of all the franchises uploaded their schedules after it was released.
RCB’s Twitter handle posted their respective fixtures and asked its fans to pick their favorite fixture. RCB uploaded a small video with their fixtures and also changed the logos of the other teams which RCB will play against.
Friendly banter between RR and RCB
RCB’s second match is against Rajasthan Royals. But, RCB’s official Twitter handle uploaded the incorrect logo. Rajasthan Royals Twitter handles hilariously trolled RCB for using their wrong logo.
For the unversed, Rajasthan Royals changed their color from blue to pink. Royals also came up with a new logo in the last season. In RCB’s tweet, it showed the Royals’ logo in blue color but not the correct one.

Replying to RCB’s tweet, Rajasthan Royals posted an image of a boy writing, “I will use the correct logo of RR,” multiple times.
Replying to Royals’ tweet, RCB wrote: “So you’re saying this is the incorrect logo?”
However, this isn’t the first time that the IPL franchises have involved in friendly banter. Ahead of the IPL, the franchises are sharing light moments quite frequently.
As per the schedule announced by the BCCI, the Rajasthan Royals will begin their campaign on September 22 against the three-time IPL champions, Chennai Super Kings.
IPL to commence on September 19
The IPL carnival is less than a fortnight away from getting underway. Fans across the world can’t wait to cheer for their favorite team to get into action. The upcoming edition of the IPL will kick-off on September 19 and the final will be played on November 10.
Mumbai Indians lifted the 2019 title after defeating Chennai Super Kings by a run in the final. It will be quite interesting to see which team comes out on top this time around.
The tournament will be played in three venues namely Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Lately, fans on social media are chipping in with opinions about which team can go on to win the IPL.
