IPL 2021: Delhi Capitals (DC) has highly dominated this season with their spectacular all-round performance. They did well as a team across all three departments.

Everyone was having confidence in Delhi Capitals. Most of the cricket fans and cricket experts termed the Delhi Capitals squad just too good for any other team in the IPL. Moreover, this prediction was made before the starting of the season itself.

The Rishabh Pant-led team has done so well in the recent seasons in the IPL. They have been an unstoppable force but at least till the league stages. And after overcoming the league stages, they tend to lose momentum.

Delhi Capitals have qualified for the playoffs for three consecutive seasons. But they were crashed out all the time in the playoffs stages. Moreover, in 2019, DC crashed out after getting defeated in the qualifier two games.

But in the season of 2020, they went till the final but lost to Mumbai Indians after a disastrous performance. The same thing has been repeated where they have crashed out of IPL in 2021 through the second qualifier game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

However, the losses in the crucial stages have arrived due to a certain pattern of reasons. The inexperience in the captaincy has cost the franchise the most. Moreover, the players not stepping up when it matters the most has also resulted in a disappointing result.

Despite having certain positive periods in the matches against CSK and KKR, Delhi Capitals could not capitalize on them. Moreover, even Ricky Ponting should be held responsible for such results.

IPL 2021: Rishabh Pant says will come back stronger after DC crash out

Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has been the most emotional with the crashing of Delhi Capitals from this IPL. Moreover, the post-match presentation was proof of his mood.

He was very sad and held himself responsible for the back-to-back defeats in the playoffs. But at the hand sight, Rishabh Pant is only 23-year-old.

He still has plenty to learn. Moreover, his leadership skills will only get better with time. Moreover, at the mere age of 23, he is regarded as one of the best crops of players currently in World cricket.

Rishabh Pant shared an emotional post on his Instagram thanking all his supporters as well as his good-wishers. However, he also went on to write that he will come back stronger. And this is the attitude that every youngster must have in him/her.

It is expected that Delhi Capitals will be the most affected by the mega auction. They have the best-established team in the IPL but the mega auction will erase the developed squad. The team management has to start from scratch like any other team in the IPL.
