IPL 2022: The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League is less than 24 hours away from getting underway. Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the tournament opener on March 26.
The game will kick off at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Case in point, Delhi Capitals will begin their campaign on March 27 as they will take on Mumbai Indians in the second game of the IPL.

Delhi Capitals have strengthened their firepower for the next season. Rishabh Pant who guided the team to the playoffs in the last season will be looking forward to leading the team from the front.

IPL 2022: Management created a nice environment around the team, says Ajit Agarkar
Delhi Capitals parted ways with Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada and Marcus Stoinis. DC have signed the services of David Warner and Mitchell Marsh who will be leading the batting attack by example.
Talking to Sportstar, former Indian pacer Ajit Agarkar said that the DC management did a pretty good work in terms of maintaining a nice environment within the team with many new cricketers joining the squad.
The Delhi Capitals’ assistant coach Agarkar said he is looking forward to contributing to the team’s environment. He further added that there are plenty of youngsters in the team. DC team management will hope to bring the best out of youngsters.
“It’s been excellent to be in the Delhi Capitals camp. There are a lot of young players in the side. I could see from the outside that the DC management has created a nice environment around the team and that shows in the franchise’s success.
“There are a lot of new faces that have joined the team, including me, and it’s our responsibility that the good environment stays intact,” Agarkar said in a statement. Notably, DC did the double over MI in the last two meetings in the last season.
