IPL 2022: The fifteenth edition of the Indian Premier League is less than a day from getting underway. The last season’s finalists will go toe-to-toe with each other in the tournament opener.
Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. In fact, KKR will look to avenge IPL 2021 final defeat on CSK. However, CSK wouldn’t take the challenge that easily.
Notably, they have all the tools and weapons to compete with KKR at the highest level. As a result, we can expect a cracker of a contest this time around. Earlier, Chennai Super Kings came through with flying colours in the previous edition.
They got the better of Kolkata Knight Riders in the final to win their fourth title. However, MS Dhoni stepped down as CSK captain just days ahead of the Indian Premier League 2022 season. MS Dhoni has handed over the captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja and the all-rounder will lead CSK from the front. READMORE: Delhi Capitals Captain Rishabh Pant Heaps Praise On Coach Ricky Ponting
