IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings List of Retained and Released Players

The two most successful teams in the IPL, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings have sent the list of their retained and released players to BCCI.  

With BCCI setting a deadline of November 15 as the last date, the franchises are now in the final stages of their confirmed list of players.

Also, the IPL mini-auction slated to take place on December 23 in Kochi, will witness good participation from teams.

The likes of Gujarat Titans, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants managed to seal the playoff spot. They would not want to make many changes in their line-up for the 2023 season.

IPL 2023: List of retained players by MI and CSK

According to Zee News, Mumbai have let go of Kieron Pollard, who looked off-colour in the 2022 edition. One more reason can be the presence of quality finishers in the line-up, Dewald Brevis, Tristan Stubbs and Tim David.

Along with Pollard, Fabian Allen, Tymal Mills, Mayank Markande and Hrithik Shoukeen mark their presence in the released player’s list.

Meanwhile, CSK have released the likes of Chris Jordan, Adam Milne, Narayan Jagadeeshan and Mitchell Santner. The all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who was speculated to play for a different franchise, has been retained by CSK.
