Real Madrid who started the season in a dreadful way would be looking to add more depth to it’s squad. It seems there are players who are unsettled at Santiago Bernabeu. The likes of Bale and Isco are constantly linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu. It seems Isco might be on his way out.
Isco’s situation at Real Madrid is a ticking time bomb and the reigning European champions may be forced to sell the attacking midfielder if things do not change. The talented Spain international has been struggling under Santiago Solari following his appointment as Julen Lopetegui’s successor. Part of the problem surrounding Isco is his place in Solari’s system. Solari deploys a 4-3-3 that plays more direct than the playmaker is comfortable with.
The former Malaga star and his representatives have also been hurt by allegations that he is overweight. They feel that the treatment of him in the media has been harsh. Isco and his representatives requested a meeting with Perez to voice their displeasure over his situation, which was apparently denied.
Club sources have revealed Perez and the board were annoyed by the way the Spaniard gestured to the Bernabeu crowd during the 3-0 defeat to CSKA Moscow. Okdiario’s chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, says Isco is furious over his lack of minutes this season. He said, “Isco is with an excessive anger. I hope I’m wrong, but I think he is lost to the Madrid cause .He is off centre, unmotivated, part of the reason is because he has had seven games as substitute. Depending on if he plays in the Club World Cup, he will ask for the winter market or not. He has already had collisions with the coach and the hard core has had it up to here with the player.”
Given the release clause of Isco valued at €700 million, clubs will be reluctant to pay that amount. There are a lot of clubs keen to sign Isco. Liverpool, Arsenal and Juventus are all keen to land the former Malaga star. It seems Real Madrid may accept a decent offeror will be tempted to sell if a modest fee comes.
