Former Indian Test opener Wasim Jaffer is recognized as the ‘meme king’ on Twitter. Every now and then, Jaffer often hogs the limelight when he posts hilarious memes or epic replies when a foreigner tries to take a jibe at Team India.
Not a long ago, former England captain Michael Vaughan took to social media and made an early prediction on Australia versus India series. The former England international was confident that Aussies would dominate India convincingly across formats.
Needless to say, the Indians proved him wrong by clinching the T20I series by 2-1. While Indian supporters slammed Vaughan, Jaffer joined the fans and showed his hilarious version on Twitter. The 42-year-old responded to Vaughan’s prediction tweet with a funny meme.
Jaffer’s tweet spread like wildfire on social media platforms. Even former Australian chinaman bowler Brad Hogg took a dig at Indian top-order batsmen by offering them tips. However, that didn’t seem like a valuable piece of advice as it appeared to be like a troll.

Jaffer came up with a savage response that went viral on the internet. His perfect reply won the Indian fans’ hearts. Fans started to label Wasim Jaffer as the ‘meme king’ on Twitter after Jaffer is comfortable dealing with hilarious memes. His social media activities earned him a separate fanbase.
Jaffer comes up with a hilarious reply to Queensland minister
Ahead of the SCG Test, there were several reports stating that Team India has expressed their reluctance to travel to Brisbane for the fourth and final Test match.
Amid reports, the Queensland government gave a strict warning to the Indian cricket team. After India’s unwillingness to travel to Brisbane, Queensland Minister came up with a sharp response.
She made it clear that India should not travel to Brisbane if they don’t want to abide by the COVID-19 guidelines in Australia. “If the Indians don’t want to play by the rules, don’t come,” said Bates, who plies her trade as state’s Health Shadow Minister.
Meanwhile, Jaffer shared a hilarious meme starring Barbados-born fast bowler Jofra Archer and took a dig at Queensland Minister in the wake of her latest remarks made against the Indian team.
SCG will host the third Test
Cricket Australia confirmed that Sydney Cricket Ground will host the third Test match. The ongoing four-match Test series currently stands at 1-1. The third match will go all guns blazing on January 7. Rohit Sharma has been appointed the vice-captain for the next two Tests.
T Natarajan will be making his Test debut in Australia. The Tamil Nadu pacer replaced senior fast bowler Umesh Yadav who picked up an injury. The fast bowler walked off the field midway through the third Test and was further taken for scans.
Umesh Yadav is subsequently ruled out of the rest of the Test series. Both the teams who won a game each will be looking forward to a tough battle at SCG. Rohit’s return is a big boost to Team India’s batting department.
