On the other side of the coin, Smriti Mandhana has made a name for herself in the sport. Be it international or domestic cricket, she has lived up to the reputation. WBBL champions Sydney Thunder roped in Smriti Mandhana before the tournament.
Smriti plied her trade for the Brisbane Heat in the Women’s Big Bash League. Needless to say, in her debut game for the Thunder against the Adelaide Strikers, she had a bad day at the office. She managed to score only 4 runs.
Talking about Radha Yadhav, she made the headlines in the Women’s Big Bash League with her fielding masterclass. During her second WBBL game with Sydney Sixers against Hobart Hurricanes, she took a superb one-handed catch.
The woman cricketer also accounted for two dismissals. As a result, Sydney Sixers went on to win the game. On the other hand, Hobart Hurricanes recruited the services of Poonam Yadav for the 2021 season. She is yet to announce her arrival in the league.
