Jose Mourinho won’t be bothered if a player moves to China!

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho admits that he is not worried about the money power of Chinese clubs.

Portuguese manager while talking to a British media explained his view on the free-spending Chinese Super League. Mourinho claims that the managers need to worry about their own team and not about the money that Chinese clubs have.

Recently many players from Europe’s top leagues have moved to China because of the high wages of those clubs. Oscar and Mikel from Chelsea are the latest players to move from Premier League to Chinese Super League.

It is very much clear that the clubs in China aren’t hesitated to make a big money move for the top players from Europe. Some of the world class strikers in the likes of Diego Costa, Aubameyang were the latest names to be linked with Chinese clubs. But a majority share of players have rejected the offer and decided to stay with their own clubs.

Mourinho says that he won’t be bothered if a player from his team moves to China. He also admits that it is player’s choice to decide their future.

“I don’t like to be critical with players that are going to China. It is their life, it is their organisation of life, it is their organisation of career,” Mourinho said.

“The money is huge, the experience can also be very interesting. I know some of my colleagues, they think they are more important than they are, they are critical with the lives of other people.”

“I am not this kind of guy, I think everyone is responsible for his own life. That is why I am not critical with anyone.”

There were rumours that some of the Chinese clubs are targeting Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney. Over the last couple of years, there were many offers from China, but he decided to stay with Man United.

Last week Wayne Rooney became the top goalscorer for Manchester United overtaking Sir Bobby Charlton’s record. Even by doing so, there has been no confirmation on whether Rooney will be handed a start in the upcoming games by Jose Mourinho. The 31-year-old forward has found himself on the bench several times this season under Mourinho.

“In Wayne’s case, I have no idea. He never mentioned anything to me. You will have to ask him,” Mourinho added.

“The future belongs to him and what he wants from his career, the way he wants to end it and enjoy this last part of his career belongs to him.”
