It’s arguably one of the most unrealistic rumours doing the rounds right now, but talk of a Mohamed Salah-Paulo Dybala swap is heating up.
Mohamed Salah has quickly established himself as a fundamental figure on Merseyside as he has proved that he’s not just a one season wonder. He has also become an immediate fans’ favourite since his arrival at Anfield last year. Meanwhile, Dybala has been an instrumental part of Juve’s recent success, as he has helped guide them to a Serie A title and Coppa Italia triumph in each campaign he’s been with the Bianconeri.
With that in mind, it would seem highly unlikely that either will be leaving any time soon, let alone swapping places. Yet, there are rumors that the Serie A and Premier League leaders are working on a deal to make this happen.
As per Tuttomercatoweb
Liverpool signed Salah from Roma in 2017 and he has proven to be a bargain at around £37m after an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea before that. The former Roma and Chelsea forward is tied to Liverpool until June 2023 and it will prove a huge ask for Juve to draw him away from Anfield.
Dybala has not been as important to Juventus this season following the arrival of Ronaldo. In addition, Salah would arguably fit in perfectly in Massimiliano Allegri’s system with his pace and quality in the final third, while Dybala has struggled to adapt since Ronaldo arrived last summer.
Yet his dynamic play in the midfield and versatility at different positions has made one of the hottest property in midfield for any team.
Given Salah’s importance to Liverpool and what they’re on the cusp of achieving this season, they will surely have no intention of letting him leave any time soon. Also Dybala is under the radar of many teams including Manchester United and Real Madrid so this deal is looking highly improbable.
