Serie-A giants Juventus are exploring the possibility of signings Spanish junior international Alex Baena from Villarreal.
Alex Baena started his football journey at the academy of Roquetas. He trained for four seasons in the club before joining the youth setup of Villarreal.
Baena then graduated from the Villarreal team and was promoted to their reserve side. The winger played two seasons with Villarreal B. At the start of the 2021/22 season, the winger joined Segunda division side Girona on a one-year loan deal. Alex Baena had a great season with Girona and helped the Catalan club to get promoted to La Liga.
He then returned back to Villarreal and finally got a place in the senior side of the La Liga team. So far the winger has appeared in eleven La Liga matches this season. He has already netted eight goals in all competitions.
Juventus Want to Secure Another Youngster

Now according to a report from Tuttojuve, Serie-A giants Juventus are interested in signing Spanish winger Alex Baena from La Liga side Villarreal.
After dominating the Serie-a for over a decade, Juventus are now going through a transition phase. The Bianconeri have failed to finish in the top three of the Italian league in their last two-term.
And now once again, they are have got a very poor start. Massimiliano Allegri’s side have got only six victories from their first twelve matches. With twenty-two points, they are currently in the sixth position in the table.
Juventus’ performance in the continental competitions has been even worse. For the first time ever, they lost four out of their first five matches in the group league and crashed out of the tournament. Even their participation in the Europa League is still not confirmed.
Now Juventus management knows their condition really well. Hence they want to bolster their squad with some quality signings in the next few windows. Alex is currently a very promising youngster. The winger is known for his creativity and eye for goal.
It has been understood that Villarreal will agree to sell the Spaniard if Juventus agree to pay in the range of €10 million. The Bianconeri signed Angel Di Maria in their last transfer window. However, the winger is yet to deliver consistent performances.
They also lost players like Paolo Dybala and Alvaro Moarata at the start of the season. So sooner or later they needed new signings in the forward department.
Juventus will play against Paris Saint-Germain in their next match. The Italian side will need a positive result to qualify for the Europa League.
