Serie-A giants Juventus have reportedly made their first contact with Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans’ camp.
After progressing through the youth setup of Belgian club Anderlecht, Youri Tielemans got his first senior team contract when he was only 16 years old. He then stayed four seasons with Anderlecht’s senior side and appeared in 185 matches.
His consistent performance with Anderlecht brought him bigger contracts. Tielemans then decided to join French Ligue 1 club Monaco on a 5-year deal. Upon joining Monaco, the midfielder struggled to replicate his performances. Finally, he joined English Premier League club Leicester City on a loan.
In Leicester, he found his form back and established himself as one of the main players of the squad. Within a season. Leicester made his loan deal a permanent one and the Belgian is considered one of the greatest assets for the Foxes. Tielemans helped Leicester to win their first FA cup title while scoring the winner against Chelsea.
Juventus interested in Youri Tielemans

After dominating Serie-A for a whole decade Juventus are now currently going through a transition period.
The Bianconeri made a tough start to the ongoing season and have got only two victories so far. They even lost to the newly promoted Monza in their last match and have only posted ten points from seven matches so far.
On top of that, Juventus lost their first two matches of this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign against Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica. Now the Juve board is under some pressure and they want to bolster their squad soon.
Similar to their recent years, Juventus now looking at multiple free agents and have been linked with quite a few. Now according to a report of Calciomercato, the Bianconeri have joined the race to sign Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans, next summer.
Tielemans was hugely chased by Arsenal in the previous window. But then he decided to fulfil his final year’s contract with Leicester and stayed at the King Power Stadium.
Leicester have got a very poor start to their season and are currently struggling at the bottom position of the Premier League. They lost their last six matches consecutively and are now getting closer to relegation.
So a lot of Premier League clubs are currently keeping an eye on the soon-to-be-free Leicester midfielder.
Teielamans is currently with his national team Belgium and has already admitted that his decision to stay at Leicester was perfect. But despite these words, he will most likely move to a bigger club, next season.
