Juventus News: Juventus FC head coach Massimiliano Allegri has responded to his critics ahead of their next Serie-A tie against Monza.

Juventus have not got an ideal start to this season. The Italian giants won only two out of their first six matches in Serie-A. They have gathered ten points so far and are placed at the eighth position in the league table.

On top of that Juventus suffered two back-to-back losses in their Champions League campaign against Benfica and Paris Saint-Germain.

The Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri has finally responded to his critics and mocked them for fake rumours.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Juventus boss said, “I missed all the rumours ‘Allegri close to being fired. One bad game and it’s ‘Allegri’s job in danger on the press. Funny!”

Allegri further added, “I’m confident about our future, so I told the players: don’t ruin the international break, I need some relax”.

Since joining Juventus in 2021, Allegri’s team has been in the middle of criticism. Last year Juve finished trophyless for the first time in eleven years.

Allegri’s defensive style was then criticised by many supporters. Then Juventus had a poor start in this season too. So the criticism only became louder and louder.

Juventus however is currently struggling with many injuries. They have already lost multiple players like Pogba, Di Maria, Locatelli and Szczesny in this short period.

Luck is also not in their favour. In their last Serie A match, they saw their last-minute winner get controversially cancelled due to VAR intervention.

Allegri has previously termed it as the reason for their unsuccessful start and thinks results are not everything because his team is showing growth.

Allegri believes his team is currently playing well and just need to “pay more attention to details.”

There is also some good news for him as Angel Di Maria is finally back after the injury. After this match, Juventus will have a long break as the international window will start. This gap is must need for their player to heel themselves and for Allegri to rethink their game plan.
