After dominating the Serie-A for over a decade, Juventus failed to even reach the top three in their last two terms. The Bianconeri have won only six out of their first twelve matches. With twenty-two points from these twelve matches, they are currently in the seventh position in the table.
Juventus’ performance in the European competition has been even poor. For the first time in their history, they lose three out of their first four matches. As a result, Juventus crashed out of the UEFA Champions League groups stage. Their spot in the Europa League has not been even confirmed.

Juventus signed Angel Di Maria on a year contract at the start of the season. The forward has so far failed to stamp his authority at Turin. His contract will expire at the end of the season. It has been understood that Juventus will not want to have him beyond this season.
As a result, they are looking at Ferran Torres. The Spanish international has currently gone down in the pecking order. He is struggling for minutes and Juventus will be able to provide that.
However, the Spaniard currently has a big contract with Barcelona that runs until 2027. So if Juventus want to sign him, they will have to pay a lot of money to Barcelona.
Juventus will face Paris Saint-Germain in their next match. Winning this will secure their place in the Europa League.
