Former Paris Saint-Germain and current Juventus central midfielder wants to join Messi in Barcelona.
French international wants to leave Turin and play in Camp Nou with Messi after not getting enough playtime on the pitch under Sarri.
According to Fox Sports, Adrien Rabiot is not satisfied with the amount of playing time he is getting at the club. The reports also claims that his mother is already in talks with Cristiano Ronaldo’s rival Lionel Messi’s Barcelona.
Rabiot has played just three games in this season under Sarri in Seria A and one Champions League appearance. The central midfielder arrived this summer from Paris Saint-Germain, but failed to secure his place in Sarri’s plans. The 24-year-old is possibly looking for a move to Barcelona in January window.
The reports from Calciometro also suggest Rabiot isn’t happy with the exposure that he is getting in Juventus under Sarri and might join the Catalan giants in January. The central midfielder’s situation is being monitored by top flight European clubs and Barcelona rivals are topping the list.
Los Blancos are interested in signing the French midfielder from Juventus if he’s decided to leave Turin. Real Madrid have been eyeing Manchester United’s Paul Pogba for a long time and Rabiot could be his alternative now. As we all know, Messi is a good leader and he has shown time and time again.
Rabiot’s fellow international teammate Ousmane Dembele was sent off after uttering some words to the referee, picking up second yellow. Messi tried everything to keep in the pitch against Sevilla on Sunday. Dembele said to referee Miguel Antonio Lahoz that, “very bad, you’re very bad.” This made Dembele sent off from the game with second yellow.
However, Barcelona appeal went in vain and the French winger will miss the all important El Clasico game against Real Madrid.
Adrien Rabiot’s wish of playing under Messi’s leadership might become possible soon in January. Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri isn’t having the central midfielder in his plans and Rabiot isn’t satisfied the playing time as well.
Barcelona has lot of options in the midfield considering departures in January, this deal may possibly occur. Barcelona are interested in bringing in spainard Fabian Ruiz from Napoli and he’s the top target for the Catalan Giants in January.
