KL Rahul Undergoes Successful Surgery In Germany, Not Expected To Join Team India For Two Months

India’s flamboyant cricketer Lokesh Rahul was expected to lead the team from the front for the five-match T20I series against the South African cricket team.

In fact, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) named him as captain for Proteas T20Is. However, just hours later, an unexpected thing happened in Indian cricket.

KL Rahul was ruled out of the entire series with a groin injury. As a result, Rishabh Pant led the team in his absence. The injury is so serious that Rahul went all the way to Germany to undergo a surgery.

The right-handed batter was suffering from recurrent lower abdominal-related fitness issues. Apart from that, he also had groin strains and hamstring injuries over the years.
