James Neesham excited to be back in IPL

Quite interestingly, this will be New Zealand all-rounder’s second stint in IPL. His previous stint came six years ago, in the 2014 edition, where he plied his trade for Delhi Capitals (Delhi Daredevils then).

The two-time IPL champions, Kolkata Knight Riders added him in their 2015 side. But unfortunately, injury stopped him from rolling his sleeve that season.

Jimmy is ready for the upcoming season. He added that he is pretty much excited to be back in the IPL. “It is my first time getting involved in a long time. It is exciting to come as an older and more experienced player.”

“Last time I played for Delhi, I was young and talented but didn’t know much about my game. Hopefully, it’ll be much more fun this time around,” Jimmy Neesham told KXIP while quarantining.

Jimmy Neesham didn’t play CPL and wasn’t featured in international series. The all-rounder reached the Emirates last week but had to go through a six-day quarantine period before safely joining his team.
