Inter have got a topsy-turvy start to their Serie-A season. They won six out of their first ten matches in the league. However, the other four matches ended as defeats. Inter were up against Fiorentina who have struggled to get results throughout the campaign.

Inter Milan Gets All Points From the Pulsating Tie
The Nerazzurri got a great start to their match. In the third minute, Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez found Nicolo Barella’s perfect run with a through ball. The Italian international then fired past Fiorentina’s goalkeeper to give Inter an early lead.
Fiorentina then came close to forcing an equaliser as Jonathan Ikone’s curler went just wide. However soon after that, Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez scored the second goal for the Nerazzurri with a brilliant solo effort.
Despite conceding two goals this early, Fiorentina was not shocked. They started to pile pressure on Inter Milan and finally got their reward in the 33rd minute. Arthur Cabral scored from the spot to reduce Inter’s lead.
The first half ended 2-1 in Inter Milan’s favour. However soon into the second half, Fiorentina winger Jonathan Ikone found the back of the net with a brilliant top-corner finish.
Lautaro Martinez then restored Inter’s lead after converting a penalty in the 73rd minute of the match. However, Fiorentina once again forced their way back into the game and Serbian striker Luka Jovic scored the equaliser for the home side.
At that moment it looked like the game will end in a high-scoring draw. But Henrikh Mkhitaryan had some other plans. The Inter Milan midfielder latched onto a failed clearance from Lorenzo Venuti and scored the winner in the 95th minute of the match.
As the full-time whistle blew, Inter came out with a 4-3 win over Fiorentina. With this win, the Nerazzurri are in the seventh position in the table. They have twenty-one points from eleven matches so far. Inter Milan will now face Viktoria Plzen in their next outing.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina are currently at the thirteenth place on the table. They have only ten points from the first eleven matches. Fiorentina will face Basaksehir FK in their next match.
