Leicester City Transfer News: Leicester City is ready to offload Caglar Soyuncu from their team roster, as Galatasaray is open to doing business.
Though the English Premier League summer transfer window is closed, the Turkish transfer window is still open. The clubs from other leagues can still sell their players to the clubs of Turkey.
Leicester struggled to do business in this window and they were unable to bring in a lot of new players. They have signed only two players. Alex Smithies came on a free transfer to provide competition to their first-choice goalkeeper Danny Ward, and Faes came on the deadline day to replace Wesley Fofana.
Foxes have lost two of their major players; Kasper Schmeichel to Ligue 1 side Nice for just £1 million and Fofana to Chelsea for a massive £70million.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are currently at the bottom of the table, and they have spent nothing in comparison to other English clubs. They created some bright talents in World Football like Kante, Vardy, Tielemans, Maddison, Mahrez, Chilwell, and Maguire. They have sold most of them, but have not properly replaced them yet.
Soyuncu’s Leicester Career

Exit rumours for Leicester centre-back Soyuncu came from Turkish giants, Galatasaray. Soyuncu is keen to make a return to his home country after leaving his former club Altinordu.
The Turkish defender began his professional career with Turkey’s second division side, Altinordu, where he made 34 appearances.
Despite being strongly linked to some major European clubs like Besiktas, Galatasaray, and Sevilla, he joined Bundesliga side, SC Freiburg. He appeared 50 times for the German club.
His solid performance earned him linked to some major European clubs like Arsenal, Lille, Roma, Villarreal, and Manchester City. But he chose Leicester City move for £20 million with add-ons on a five-year contract. His Leicester debut happened against West Ham in October 2018 with a 1-1 draw. He made the Leicester defence solid and linked to many other top clubs.
But an injury sidelined him for several months. His defensive record started to get worse and struggled to get back to his best form.
Leicester City Transfer News: Link to Galatasaray

Brendan Rodgers was hoping for the window to be shut, as he lost some major defensive options for his teams. Now, Caglar Soyuncu is the latest name, who is linked to a move away.
The Turkish defender has remained an unused substitute in all five Premier League matches of the Foxes. Soyuncu has hinted at his talks with other clubs in his Twitter and Instagram posts: “all good things come after patience.”
The manager also confirmed his defender’s link to other clubs by saying: “It was one of those where Cags thought he would be moving on and it’s been difficult for him.” Transfer guru Fabrizio Ramano also confirmed the talks on his Twitter post.
Rumours suggest that Leicester has rejected an opening offer, but talks are ongoing. Leicester is expected to open to a loan move. The Turkish transfer window will shut on Thursday, 8th September.
