Lilywhites enter the title race once again after the dramatic win against Watford.

Tottenham boss open up to reporters about his say to the players during half-time.

Tottenhem Hotspur are now very much in the title race once again after earning  a valuable three points against Watford last night.

The leaders of Premier League, Liverpool drew with Leicester City at Anfield, and Manchester City lost to Newcastle United last night. Pochettino’s men sit just seven points adrift of the Reds, and with two more home games to come up next against Newcastle and Leicester respectively, they have every chance of keeping the pressure up on JĆ¼rgen Klopp’s men.

Tottenham bossĀ Mauricio PochettinoĀ spoke to reporters in the aftermath of his side’s had-fought win over Watford last night, and shared what he told his players during the half-time as quoted by the reports.

The Argentine manager spoke to reporters after last night’s win, and explained how he made it clear to his players that if they kept doing what they were doing, they would get their reward in the end.

“I think they have the feeling that we deserve more than we’re getting from football. But what I told them is that we need to keep going and for sure football is going to reward us with what we deserve in the end.”

Lilywhites were dumped out of both domestic cup competitions last week in the space of just four days, so they have just the Premier League and Champions League to play for now.

Author’s Take:

There are still 14 Premier League games remaining and there is so much to do if Lilywhites are thinking of conquering their first top flight title since 1961. They are still 7 points adrift of the leaders and need to win every single game in order the be in the race.
