Liverpool FC gaffer Jurgen Klopp has recently criticized their rivals Manchester City ahead of their upcoming match next Sunday.
Since the arrival of Pep Guardiola, Manchester City have become the most dominant team in England.
They have won four of their last five English Premier league titles. And now once again the Citizens have got a great start to their English Premier League campaign.
Pep Guardiola’s side won seven out of the first nine matches and are currently the only unbeaten team in the league. They have gathered twenty-three points already and are in the second position one point behind Arsenal. Now City will face Liverpool in their next match. In the recent few years, this fixture has decided the winners of the league. But this time, things are not quite the same.
Liverpool boss criticizes City riches

Now, many people believe the biggest reason for City’s overwhelming success is their huge resources. They can buy almost any player they want and can beat their rivals with their monetary power.
Even this season, Manchester City managed to sign former Borussia Dortmund player Erling Haaland after paying his release clause. The Norweigian has lit up the league since his arrival and is just demolishing all of his opponents.
While speaking City’s riches, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp took a dig and said “no one can compete” with them.
Now City and Haaland will face Liverpool in their next match. So when asked about how they can stop City’s talisman and compete with them, the Liverpool gaffer said, “You will not like the answer, and you all have the answer already. Nobody can compete with City,”
He further pointed out “You have the best team in the world and you put in the best striker on the market, no matter what it costs, you just do it.”
Now Liverpool themselves have not got the same start as their rivals. The Jurgen Klopp led side won only two of their first eight matches. They are currently in the Eleventh position in the table with only ten points.
Liverpool in the past have been the biggest competitor for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City. But this around it looks like there’s a huge gap between the two teams.
The Reds through have already defeated City this season once when they lifted the FA Charity Shield. They can surely take some inspiration from that match if it’s necessary. A win in the Manchester City match will surely give them a huge boost but a defeat will be a curtain to their title dream.
