Klopp rules out Portugal international transfer move.
Rafael Camacho joined the Academy at Liverpool at the end of 2015-16. A Portugal U-17 international can play anywhere across the forward line.
The 19-year-old made his Liverpool debut against Wolves in the FA Cup and didn’t do badly, although he was let down by his more senior team-mates, in truth.
Camacho plays best as a winger, although for the first-team, Klopp has utilised the Portugal youth international and former Manchester City Academy player as a fullback.
Sources in Portugal, claim that Camacho has been allowed to move to Sporting, his former club on an 18-month loan deal after making his debut.
The highly-rated teenager plays impressed as a right-back at Molineux despite the 2-1 third-round loss.
But Klopp has decided that a move back to Sporting will help his development.
It looked for all the word that Rafa Camacho was set for a loan spell in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon.
The plans had been made and a deal agreed, but according to Portuguese outlet, Jurgen Klopp has ‘vetoed’ the loan transfer, judging Camacho a decent squad option and one he wants in the first-team until the end of the season.
Klopp wanting him to stay though should be a big boost for the player, who can now get his head down and continue to impress at Melwood.
Liverpool boss doesn’t want the winger Rafa Camacho to leave the club this January. He has an amazing talent of playing from anywhere and Klopp is aware of it.
Yet, It is still not known where the youngster would end up, but if it’s at right-back, he will have to seriously use his defensive skills.
