Reports say that Liverpool have started talks with Rennes over a transfer of Eduardo Camavinga
Liverpool are all set to go guns blazing in the upcoming transfer window. This season, they did not spend much on new players as Klopp was happy with the squad he had. The Reds were also building a new training complex so they had to divert cash to that endeavour.
The current season for the Merseyside club was not disappointing by any means. They are 25 points clear of second-placed Manchester City at the top of the league table. Although the scousers would be happy to see their beloved team life the league after 30 long years, their performance in other competitions was underwhelming. Liverpool bowed out to Chelsea in the FA Cup and lost to Atletico Madrid in Champions League Round of 16. Although the Liverpool faithful did not expect their team to retain the cup definitely, they surely expected a longer run in the tournament.

Klopp now seems determined to strengthen his team to prevent such unfortunate events from occurring next season. And according to Sport, Liverpool have enquired Rennes about a possible move for Eduardo Camavinga.
Many pundits consider the 17-years-old midfielder as the next superstar from France. As a matter of fact, Arsenal and Manchester United moved for him last summer. But neither of them could secure a deal.
Who is Camavinga?
Eduardo is an Angolan-born 17-years-old French midfielder. He currently plays for Rennes in Ligue 1. Camavinga deducted for Rennes in the 2018-19 season but made only 7 appearances over the season. The current season can rightly be called his breakthrough season.

As a midfielder, Camavinga has grabbed two assists this season. He makes 0.3 passes per ninety, and his pass success stands at 88.1%. He has got a goal too. Camavinga contributes to defence by taking 0.6 shots per game and completing 0.7 dribbles.
These stats are impressive for a teenager. And they justify why Rennes have put a €50m asking price for him.
Liverpool lack in the midfield, with not enough depth and quality. Considering the fact that Klopp loves to work with youngsters, Camavinga would be a great addition to the squad.
