Liverpool fans have claimed that they have proof that ball did cross the line against Manchester City
Sadio Mane had the best chance to score in the first half when Salah played a through ball to the Senegalese forward, but his effort rebounded off the post. John Stones was the first to react and cleared the ball, which again was blocked by Ederson. The ball was about to cross the line when Stones made a miraculous recovery to clear the ball from danger and goal-line technology confirmed the whole of the ball did not cross the whole of the line.

“I think @premierleague is either using the wrong version of the goal line technology or its software is infected with virus. #MCILIV How can you deny a goal whilst the whole circumference of the ball crossed the line. I’m starting to believe Epl referees are……”
Liverpool this season has been in top form with 49 goals in 21 matches so far in the English Premier League. This tie with Manchester City was crucial in their title race and could have even given them a great lead. The decision on Mane’s effort was made with the goal line technology which has shown that the entire ball didn’t cross the line. The Liverpool fans are not quite satisfied with the technology and referees decision.
