Liverpool News: Liverpool has responded to Manchester City’s signing of Erling Haaland. With Mane most likely to exit the club, many were of the opinion that Liverpool wouldn’t be able to keep up with City now.
Although, the Reds have been fierce in their recruitment policy. Darwin Nunez to Liverpool could be one of the most significant transfers of this season. Liverpool lacked a proper number 9 and Nunez will slot into that role.
The Reds are also looking to confirm the signing of Portuguese midfielder William Carvalho. With two deals Klopp has already started strengthening his squad for the coming seasons.
But it doesn’t look like Liverpool intends on stopping. This season could see a major revamp where a host of players move away and towards Liverpool. There are 2 more players the club is looking to target in this window.

While Jurgen Klopp had already secured a couple of high-profile deals, he will now look for players who would provide more depth to the club. Calvin Ramsay is one such target for Liverpool.
Ramsay plays a right back in the Scottish league and has impressed in his time with Aberdeen. As per reports from LiverpoolEcho, The Reds gave already launched a bid of £4m for the player.
However, they have been met with resistance as Aberdeen is asking a price of £10m for the right back’s services. As of now, there is no direct replacement for Trent Alexander Arnold should he suffer from an injury.
Joe Gomez has often swapped in as right-back and Klopp might look to address that issue with the signing of Calvin Ramsay. Also, there can be a lot of departures from Liverpool which should help in carrying the financial burden.

Liverpool has provided an update on the status of many of their bench players. Last season Liverpool’s bench demonstrated enormous character highlighting the fact that many of the players deserve first-team football.
As a result, we could some departures from the club. Minamino has already announced his exit from the club and Mane is soon to follow. Neco Williams and Nat Phillips are two players in which Premier League clubs have taken an interest.
Liverpool is hoping to raise around £10m from both of the deals respectively. Ben Davies and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain are two players Liverpool will listen to offers for and they too could command a price of around £10m.
Even with these departures, Liverpool will have enough depth if they are able to complete 1 or 2 more signings. The key for the club will be to nail negotiations with Mo Salah and tie him to another contract with the Reds.
