Liverpool stance on Jack Grealish revealed as Villa complete January transfer

The Reds make their decision on Aston Villa skipper’s signature amidst United and City’s interest. Liverpool has a number of shortlists for their January transfer window, which will begin shortly. Jack Grealish is also recently linked with Merseyside club for a move away from Villa.

Aston Villa stars have been repeatedly linked with a move away from Villa Park. Manchester giants both City and United are keen to secure the services of Aston Villa midfielder. Grealish’s presence in the midfield has been the strength for the Villains.

The English midfielder is also capable of playing on both sides of the flanks, which makes him versatile. The midfielder can prove to be a great signing for both Manchester clubs.

Jack Grealish has featured in 12 games for the Villains in Premier League and managed five goals and seven assists. He has also stamped his authority in the domestic league by scoring a goal in just one appearance in Carabao Cup.

Manchester United has been eyeing the English midfielder for a long-time and yet to strike a deal with the Villains. The 25-year-old has expressed his desire to stay at Villa Park and he is happy with this side.

Grealish’s dream is to take Dean Smith’s side to European competition. However, he is now linked with the Premier League Champions, Liverpool. United will be wanting his service with Pobga planning to leave next year.

, Manchester United and Manchester City could make a January approach for Jack Grealish. He recently penned a five-year deal with the Villains in September, which is worth  £130,000-a-week.

Liverpool is the latest club to be in rumor with Jack Grealish for a January move. This rumor is due to unhappy Mo Salah, who might leave Anfield next summer. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the frontrunners for the Egyptian superstar.

However, the Reds have distanced themselves from the Aston Villa skipper as per Liverpool Echo. While United and City intend to register their interest and test the water in January ahead of a looming summer battle for Grealish.

Jack Grealish wants to take his side to European competition and sees his future at Villa Park. However, United might require his services in the upcoming year alongside Bruno Fernandes.
