This year he has been played predominantly on the right-wing and could come to Anfield as a rotation option for Mohamed Salah.
Steven Bergwijn has a €20 million (£17.6 million) release clause in his contract. He appears as an ideal candidate for the Liverpool recruitment policy under Klopp and FSG. He is young, cheap and talented. It’s hard to have a second fiddle of the same quality as of Mane and Salah.

Liverpool are lacking players who can make an impact by coming off the bench. Klopp hasn’t rotated the squad that much and should have rested players for better performance. However, the back up of Firminho, Mane and Salah aren’t half as good as the attacking trio. Liverpool must act quickly if they want to sign the attacking player.
