Van Gaal talks about Rashford’s future at Man United
Former Netherlands Louis van Gaal reckons that Rashford has dropped a hint at his exit at Man United. Former Man United gave the youngster his debut in 2016 and has monitored his progress closely.
According to the former manager, Rashford could part ways with the club in the future, despite his long desire to end his football career at Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old had earlier conceded that representing any other team wouldn’t be right. The bright young prospect has already made up his mind to be with Man United for a long time.
He said: “I never look beyond Manchester United and as a kid I have never looked beyond Manchester United. In my mind, it wouldn’t sit right for me to be pulling on another shirt.”
“I just want to do my best I can. Hopefully, I am here for a long time,” Rashford added. However, the 69-year-old Dutchman thinks otherwise. He had suggested (as per Mirror) that the No.10 might leave the club in the future.
Van Gaal lauds Rashford
Rashford drew plaudits for his humanitarian work of late. Van Gaal also heaped praise on the youngster’s work to feed hungry stomachs and less fortunate ones. Rashford who was brought up in a tough area has come a long way to become a football player. Today, he is scoring on and off the pitch.
He is now helping kids from the economically back section of society. Van Gaal said: “I admire him for being such an honest and pure guy. And the way he is fighting for less privileged kids is wonderful. He does a lot of stuff for the community.”
