Lucas Hernandez Shows Aggression Off the Field and got arrested

Over the years, it has been accepted players show aggression towards match officials and other players. The players are still penalised for their conduct and they are not let off. Needless to say that they even reach severe punishments such as suspensions as well. However, players continue to show their aggression on and off the field.

Recently, Lucas Hernandez was found arrested for allegedly beating up his girlfriend. Although no charges have been pressed till now, the French International was arrested in the wee hours on Friday.

The Atletico Madrid defender is expected to show more composure and not indulge in such domestic disputes. In fact, this is not the first instance when an international football star has been arrested. It seems as if the Spanish police has something against Footballers.

As ambassadors of the sport, footballers such as Lucas are expected to take the name of the sport forward. It is natural that younger players tend to show more aggression. Perhaps at such instances, the senior players and coaches are required to intervene. They should encourage the players to concentrate on their game. Instead of indulging in feuds, they should focus on improvement.

Such incidents have a lot of negative incidents. To begin with, players lose their match fees and are even suspended. But it doesn’t stop just there. Footballers lose reputation and sometimes they even lose fan following.

On the one side, there are players like Iker Casillas who drag their players to thank their supporters. And on the other side, there is such kind of players who show aggression on repeated occasions.
