Lyon news: Peter Bosz joined as manager of the Ligue 1 club at the start of the 2021-22 season.

But the French club struggled to get going under him, finishing eighth in the league table last term. They have endured a disappointing start to the current season as well and are 12 points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain in the Ligue 1 table.

Lyon are winless in their last five league games, picking up just one point in that time. The Kids’ poor performances on the pitch put his job under scrutiny. Bosz has also fallen out with the Kids’ squad in recent weeks.

Captain Alexandre Lacazette has criticized him publicly after the 1-1 draw against Toulouse on Friday. While speaking to the media, he said: “I know what he wants. I can’t speak for every player. In any case, when you watch the match this evening, I don’t think everything is clear to everyone. That’s what is a shame.”
