Real Madrid planning to sell Manchester United target

Real Madrid seem to be in crisis. The Los Blancos are winless in four games. Match winning players are injured and scoring goals seems to be a problem for Madrid. Amidst of all these, the Champions League winners are planning to sell this player.

Life without Cristiano Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane has been tough. It seems the Los Blancos couldn’t find their ideal replacements. Real Madrid are clearly heading the way where they didn’t want to go. They are winless in four games and haven’t scored a goal in any of these matches. Madrid are having the worst start to a season for two decades. Amidst this fracas, the Madrid side has decided to sell one of its star players.

Real Madrid are planning to sell Bale to Manchester United. It was considered that Bale’s goal in the final of Champions League against Liverpool in May was an assurance that he will stay at Bernabeu. However, that doesn’t seem to be true.

According to TelemadridMadrid are growing unhappy at Bale’s tendency to put his personal interests before those of the club. Therefore he could be leaving the club in the coming year. After Cristiano Ronaldo left Real Madrid in a €110 million move to Juventus in July, it seemed Bale would be their main man. Everything look set for the Welshman to be centre stage at the capital. There were rumours that Gareth Bale was the reason why Zinedine Zidane resigning from his position as manager of the club.

Madrid are also said to be concerned that Bale is not more of a leader in the dressing room. They believe he is instead staying as somewhat of a pariah to his teammates. It is also said that Madrid may try to sell to Bale to Premier League clubs Manchester United. Bale’s former club Tottenham Hotspur is also monitoring his situation at Bernabeu.

Author’s take:

Madrid might be taking the wrong step by selling Bale. At the current moment, they are running short of players. They haven’t signed an ideal replacement for Ronaldo. Also, Hazard has ruled out that he won’t leave Chelsea in January. So selling Bale is not the solution. Madrid should think twice before making any decision.
